Our Mission:
Fruited Plains, Inc. is a faith-based organization committed to assisting the people of Kenya in becoming self-sustaining through agricultural projects, education, and micro-enterprise.
Our Vision:
To partner with local churches and faith based organizations in Kenya to serve those afflicted by poverty. As people become self-sustaining we believe they will experience new hope, purpose, and value.
Core Values:
Communication: To communicate clearly, openly and honestly to our partners, board of directors, and our donors.
Compassion: To be sensitive to cultural differences and compassionate to those we serve; treating them with dignity and respect.
Integrity: To be truthful and honest in our work and with others. We seek accountability from those we work with to ensure the integrity of the organization.
Partnership: To work closely with those we have partnered with. Exchange ideas, build trust, and treat others with dignity and respect as we serve side by side.
Prayer: To seek wisdom, discernment and guidance as we are called to manage the work God is doing through this organization.
Sustainability: We strive to discover ways to meet the basic needs of the people in Kenya in a way that helps them become self-sustaining. We also seek ways to make the projects themselves sustainable.
