The Gift of Learning
Fruited Plains continues to support the local people who are invested in making a difference in the lives of children in Kenya. Fruited Plains continues to support the feeding program at Sister Freda's college hospital, a pre-school in the Kibera slums of Nairobi and a boy's home in Kitale.

The newest update is an exciting opportunity to provide learning books to schools. Creative Teaching Press is a company that manufactures teaching materials and books to assist children in learning to speak and read English. All school children in Kenya learn not only Kiswahili, but English as well. Creative Teaching Press kindly donated 92 cases of books and school supplies. They are currently on their way to Kenya and should be arriving early September. We are very grateful to Creative Teaching Press and for their generous contribution to the children of Kenya.
