Charities in Africa

There are many causes one can support, and some are more worthy than others. However, there are some causes that are deserving of everybody's attention. No person should die for a lack of food and medical care, and no child should be forced to live in the squalor of such conditions. On a mission trip in 2004, Mike and Michele Robinson recognized the need for charities in Africa to address these concerns in communities in Kenya, so they created Fruited Plains, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization.

The central goals of Fruited Plains revolve around the simple idea of giving people what they need to pull themselves out of poverty permanently, and knowledge and opportunities are key components to this solution. Moreover, we have a strong commitment to addressing the need for charities for children in Africa, and its all about caring for kids, and giving them the support network that they need to grow into productive individuals with a strong sense of hope for a better future.
