February 2010 Testimonials

Susan

“My name is Susan. I am from AIC Cheptonon Church.” I am one of the people who benefited from the seeds that you will receive here. I want to thank God so much for the great things He has done for me. After the clashes we were in exile. You may ask yourself, “Who was there to help you during that time?” If it were not for God to help us at Cheptonon during that time, I don’t think we would be here. God gave us those seeds at the right time when we were very much in need. I was among those who received the blessing God was giving at that time. When we were exiled and came back, some of us were now widows and some lost their relatives. You understand it was a tough moment and we had heavy hearts and difficulties and we had no other ways. But because God hears our prayers day and night, He really revealed Himself during that hardship. We were given those seeds and we planted. I want to testify that these are good seeds. It takes short time and the yield is excellent. I also want to thank my church for giving 10% (10kg bag of maize) of what they received. My church is dedicated to help others in the way that they were also helped. I want to assure you from the seeds you are going to receive, you will have a good blessing. After harvest I went out to plant some vegetables. But again these seeds (maize) started coming up again before I had a chance to plant vegetables. I tell you I am going to harvest again and this is the third time in a year. I did not plant, they just came up! I really thank God for Fruited Plains. It is not that they have a lot but they gave what little they had and that blessing has reached us. I am one of the people who decided to try God by giving out what I have received. I have given some of our neighbors some of the seed. I promise even if you come from far, I will give you something small. Thank you very much.”
